Good afternoon,

This week has been busy in Year 6 but it's lovely to see everyone back after a well rested break.

The children had a great experience on Wednesday going to watch Highcliffe school's performance of We Will Rock You. We were there with other schools from the area and our children really stood out as being a respectful and polite to others - we were very proud of them.

We have been finishing off our maths topic on fractions, decimals and percentages and next week we will move on to algebra which the children are very excited about!

In English, we have been studying a new book called Wolf Brother. We will continue with this next week.

This half-term in PSHE our unit will be focusing on being healthy. We wanted to inform you that based on the curriculum,  we will be learning about drugs, alcohol and physical and mental health. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to come and see me.
